Details: This c.1960s paper bag was produced for the German stationery company Schneider. The artist is uncredited.

The company was founded in 1938 and started manufacturing ballpoint pen refills in the 1940s. From 1957, they also made ballpoint pens.

The text reads "Sage und schreibe Schneider", meaning "Say and write Schneider". The side featuring the woman character translates as "KARIN has taste and thinks about what she will give HIM as a beautiful gift. Suddenly, she beams and goes to the shop... chooses the K70."

The other side translates as "BRUNO appreciates the Schneider pen because it makes his handwriting finally more legible. Yes, everyone is delighted by that."
