Details: The cover of this 1976 Trans Europ Express brochure was illustrated by French artist Guy Georget (1911-1992).

Georget was known for his poster art, creating many designs for Air France in particular. Georget also designed the logo for La Poste, the French national postal service.

The TEE was established in 1957, comprised of eight European railway companies and connecting 70 cities. Their aim was to compete against the emerging air travel industry.
