Science and Technology - GPO (1966)

Year: 1966

Format: Postage stamp

Illustrator: David and Ann Gillespie

Client: GPO (General Post Office)

Details: This stamp printed in 1966 was from a set depicting Britain's achievements in Science and Technology.

It was designed by David and Ann Gillespie. They were a married couple who designed together after meeting at the Royal College in the Graphic Design department.

While Ann is mentioned on the back of the presentation pack and is even shown working on the designs in an AP Archive video, the design itself credits only "D Gillespie".
