Hotel Danúbio (c.1960s)

Year: Undated (c.1960s)

Format: Label

Illustrator: Uncredited

Client: Hotel Danúbio

Details: Luggage labels were used as a form of advertising by resorts and travel operators. Hotel staff would apply them, using adhesive gum, to the rigid suitcases of visitors. Once they were applied, it was pretty much impossible to remove them intact, so some people would ask for extra loose labels to save and collect.

This label for Hotel Danúbio in Sao Paulo, Brazil is undated but looks to be c.1960s.
