Details: This booklet accompanied the UK cinema release of the film “Funny Girl” in 1968. The illustration is the same as the one used in the film poster, which was created by American poster designer Bill Gold (1921-2018).

Gold produced more than 2000 movie posters during his 70 year career including notable designs for “Casablanca”, “A Clockwork Orange” and “The Exorcist”.

Over the years, Gold varied his style and methods to suit projects and changing tastes. He began as an illustrator, before switching to photography and ending with computer graphics.
