Details: This 1965 leaflet promotes Davos in Switzerland as a tourist destination. The artwork was created by Swiss designer Donald Brun (1909-1999). It was originally used on a poster first printed in 1957.

Donald Brun was born in Basel. He served an apprenticeship in advertising art between 1927 and 1930.

Brun started working as a freelance artist in 1933 for prominent companies in Switzerland. He became well-known for producing countless posters in a range of styles.

Along with Fritz Bühler, Donald Brun was one of the co-founders of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) in 1952.
